Legislative Recap
After last year’s tragic attack in Highland Park, it was such a good feeling to celebrate Independence Day with our communities again. As my staff and I walked in the Fourth of July parades, it was inspiring to see so many smiling faces lining our streets. Seeing the happy crowds on a beautiful summer day really reminded us of what a privilege it is to serve the people of the 42nd District. Every day, I feel honored to represent our great communities, and I look forward to building on the great work we’ve done so far. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate – especially all the first responders who
worked over the Fourth of July holiday to keep us all safe.
