American Water Town Hall TUESDAY
Over the past few months, we’ve been hearing concerns from constituents about the water supply at Arbor View and Westfield elementary schools in Glen Ellyn, as well as the surrounding neighborhoods.
A water main break last year forced Arbor View to close for a day, and another break in April of this year put both schools under a boil order, which meant students could not drink from school water fountains.
Our constituents deserve to hear directly from American Water about these problems and their plans to resolve them. So my office is hosting a town hall event with American Water on Tuesday, June 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Arbor View Elementary School, 22W430 Ironwood Drive.
There will be one-on-one stations where residents can talk face-to-face with American Water representatives. Milton Township officials also will be on hand to talk with us.
