Rock your Socks TOMORROW

Tomorrow (March 21) is World Down Syndrome Day, and I’ll be rocking my wacky socks in honor of the day. To further raise awareness, my office is participating in the Rock Your Socks Drive, collecting new, unused socks throughout the month of March.

We’re joining forces with the Village of Glen Ellyn, Glen Ellyn Park District, Glen Ellyn Public Library, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Faith Lutheran Church and Chitkowski Law Offices to collect socks, which will be donated to the People’s Resource Center.

Last year’s drive collected 1,500 pairs of socks, and I’m hoping we can exceed that this year – with your help and generosity. If you would like to schedule a time to drop off your sock donations, please email [email protected] or call us at 630-812-9292. You can also donate through our Amazon Wish List here.
